introduction-Sandra Zeman

Hello!

My name is Sandy Zeman.  I am an intervention specialist tutor for an elementary school in Ashtabula. I have been teaching for 5 years but this is only my second year in special education.  My bachelor's degree is from Lake Erie College in early childhood education.  I received a master's degree of educational administration from Youngstown State in 2011.  I am currently working under a supplemental intervention specialist license and hope to transition into a standard license next year after completing all of the requirements.   I am married and have two daughters that are 7 and 10.  My girls are my world!  I currently live in a small rural township called Plymouth.  It is on the outskirts of Ashtabula.  I am looking forward to this program and have never been enrolled in an online course so I am excited but also a bit nervous!

  1. Hi Sandy!

Wow, it looks like online classes are just the thing you need! They certainly save the time you would have taken in driving and allow you to put it to better use. When I was going for my license (Alt pathway), I got into a cohort program at the Ashtabula Co. ESC in Jefferson, so I know about drive time...

Good luck in your quest to transition into a standard license!
