Introduction - Ralph Rich
Hi all,
Ralph Rich here. I am a resident of Hubbard, OH and am enrolled in the Intervention Specialist: Mild/Moderate program. I have a Bachelor's in English Literature with a Minor in Music Production from YSU in 2012. I find myself back at YSU after working for The Purple Cat (A program for adults with disabilities). I enjoyed the work I was doing and wanted to pursue it even further!

Hi Ralph,
ReplyDeleteI have heard good things about Purple Cat. One of my students Mom just toured it and really liked it. She was really excited that you have animals there. I do not have a undergrad in education either and I am looking forward to learning more about teaching.

Hi Ralph,
ReplyDeleteThe Purple Cat is a great place. I worked with a teacher in Austintown that worked there at one point. I have worked children that have disabilities for over 20 years and love this field. I think that it is great that you enjoyed working at Purple Cat so much that you decided to go back to school to pursue a career in this field. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and this being a great semester.
Hi Ralph,
ReplyDeleteI was enthused to read about your background. I am also a musician (I have a three piece band) and work throughout the area. Throughout my experiences, I have come to realize that musicianship is more than notes and tones. It is an extremely therapeutic artform that can bridge the gap of ciaos one may be enduring. I look forward to hearing more of your time at the Purple Cat and stories of the 'road'(lol).
