Introduction: Ralph Rich

Introduction - Ralph Rich

Hi all,
Ralph Rich here. I am a resident of Hubbard, OH and am enrolled in the Intervention Specialist: Mild/Moderate program. I have a Bachelor's in English Literature with a Minor in Music Production from YSU in 2012. I find myself back at YSU after working for The Purple Cat (A program for adults with disabilities). I enjoyed the work I was doing and wanted to pursue it even further!

  1. Hi Ralph,
I have heard good things about Purple Cat. One of my students Mom just toured it and really liked it. She was really excited that you have animals there. I do not have a undergrad in education either and I am looking forward to learning more about teaching.

  3. Hi Ralph,
The Purple Cat is a great place. I worked with a teacher in Austintown that worked there at one point. I have worked children that have disabilities for over 20 years and love this field. I think that it is great that you enjoyed working at Purple Cat so much that you decided to go back to school to pursue a career in this field. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and this being a great semester.

  4. Hi Ralph,
I was enthused to read about your background. I am also a musician (I have a three piece band) and work throughout the area. Throughout my experiences, I have come to realize that musicianship is more than notes and tones. It is an extremely therapeutic artform that can bridge the gap of ciaos one may be enduring. I look forward to hearing more of your time at the Purple Cat and stories of the 'road'(lol).
